Serena Williams' former coach, Rennae Stubbs, recently took a dig at Donald Trump's administration for reportedly removing the website that supported Nex Benedict and Matthew Shepard. The US president, Trump, will be ending multiple policies protecting LGBTQ+ rights, starting with him announcing that the new government will only be recognizing two sexes—men and women—during his inauguration.

Amid this, his administration has removed the White House websites that honored Nex Benedict and Matthew Shepard, both of whom succumbed to the horrific acts of anti-LGBTQ+ violence.

Reacting to this matter, Rennae Stubbs voiced her opinion by reposting the news on her Instagram story on January 25. She wrote that the community will never forget the incident, and also called out the voters for their decision to elect Trump.

"You can erase a website, but you can't erase us! We see you, and we'll never forget & to all those that voted for this, we see you too!"

As per a report from Yahoo.com, the removed websites carried several statements by former president, Joe Biden in support of Nex Benedict, who died in February last year.

Rennae Stubbs slammed Donald Trump and Republican members for their take on climate change

Serena Williams' ex-coach, Rennae Stubbs, took a hit at Donald Trump and other Republican members, JD Vance and Rob DeSantis, for their take on climate change during warnings about Hurricane Milton. This storm was classified as Category 5 for a brief period and hit Florida in October of last year.

In October last year, a video of a meteorologist was making rounds on the internet, where he revealed the dangers of the upcoming storm. Emphasizing this, Rennae Stubbs called out Trump for his controversial takes on climate change and wrote:

"When are ignorant people going to listen to the SCIENTISTS! You keep voting for people that say there is no such thing as climate change!? idiots like Vance/Desantis/Trump! Vance has the audacity 2 say if u don’t have kids u aren’t invested in the future! Im more invested than YOU!" Stubbs wrote (via X).

Along with this, she also shared a tweet expressing concern for her friends who resided in Tampa Bay, Florida, where Hurricane Milton was expected to take place. Sympathizing with the state, she wrote:

"Tampa Bay where I used to live and St Pete where i have so many friends living, everyone, please be safe. Evacuate if you can, I’m thinking of you all," she wrote.

Rennae Stubbs was an Australian tennis player, who won six Grand Slam titles (four doubles and two mixed doubles) and 60 WTA titles during her time as a pro.
