"You're my favorite human, I love you" - Tommy Paul's girlfriend Paige Lorenze wishes American on his birthday after Italian Open 2024 SF run

Tommy Paul's girlfriend Paige Lorenze recently wished the American on his birthday and also congratulated him on his semifinal run at the 2024 Italian Open. Paul turned 27 on May 17.

The American is having a stellar season having already won a title at the Dallas Open and a final at the Delray Beach Open. He also reached the semifinal at the Indian Wells Masters and Italian Open.

Paul had a great two weeks in Rome, reaching his first semifinal at any clay Masters 1000 tournament. After being awarded a bye in the first round, he defeated Aslan Karatsev 6-4, 6-2 in the second round. In the third round, he went past Dominik Koepfer 6-4, 6-3 to set up a fourth-round encounter with defending champion Daniil Medvedev.

The American upset the No. 2 seed with a 6-1, 6-4 victory. In the quarterfinal, Paul got past Hubert Hurkacz 7-5, 3-6, 6-3. His campaign ended in the semifinal against Nicolas Jarry with a 3-6, 7-6(3), 3-6 loss.

Tommy Paul's semifinal match coincided with his 27th birthday. On this occasion, his girlfriend Paige Lorenze congratulated him on his campaign in the Italian Campaign.

"Couldn't be more proud of you!! such an amazing week," Paige Lorenze wrote.

She also expressed her love for Paul while wishing him on his birthday. Lorenze wrote:

"And happy birthday. you're my favorite human."

Tommy Paul also received birthday wishes from compatriots on his 27th birthday. Taylor Fritz wished him with a photo of himself, Paul, and Opelka.

"Happy birthday brother," wrote Taylor Fritz.

Paul was wearing jean shorts and man sandals. This unique pairing caught Opelka's eye and took a humorous jab at him.

"Jorts and mandal combo 🔥," Opelka replied.

Frances Tiafoe also sent his wishes and wrote:

Paul, Fritz, and Opelka have been friends since they were teenagers and have maintained this friendship throughout these years. Opelka told ATP Tour that they first met when they were just 13 years old.

"We first met when we were around 13 years old and we have been training together since then and we started hanging out then, so the relationships naturally formed. At that age, it is an interesting time. We had a weird setup because we didn’t have any parents around.“It was us three living together, so we didn’t have as much direction,” Reilly Opelka said to ATP Tour.
