Caroline Wozniacki flaunted the collection of 'young car lovers' of her family, her three-year-old daughter Olivia and one-and-half-year-old son, James. Wozniacki was on the 2024 US Open run but faced a 4R exit after losing to Beatriz Haddad Maia of Brazil.
Wozniacki and her husband David Lee tied the nuptial knot in June 2019, following which she unveiled her plans to bid goodbye to tennis and focus on family. The couple welcomed their firstborn, Olivia, on 11 June 2022, and a baby boy James on 24 October 2022. Having extended her family, the Dane announced her return to the sport in June 2023.
In the 2024 US Open, she lost to Brazilian Beatriz Haddad Maia in a thrilling three-setter and made a 4R exit. Off the tennis court, Wozniacki seemed to have been enjoying her life with kids, who have now turned into 'car lovers'.
She snapped a series of cars and shared it in her Instagram story, asserting both Olivia and James are interested in playing with cars.
"We have young car lovers in the family"
The picture featured toy cars in all shapes and sizes, including an airplane, a golf cart, and trains.
In a conversation with Citibank before Olivia's birth, Wozniacki shared her plans for empowering her daughter with her life lessons.
"It's so important to let her know that her gender doesn't determine whether or not she can be what she wants to be," she said.
As she returned to the 2023 US Open after a long hiatus, the 34-year-old talked about juggling tennis and her time with her kids, Olivia and James, via tennis.com:
"When I'm on court, I know that I'm 100% on court, giving it my all when I'm there. When I'm with the kids, that's what matters most to me at that point.”
Caroline Wozniacki - "Olivia’s my hype woman and I love it”
Caroline Wozniacki returned to the court not only as a tennis player but also as a mother. She has been sharing her experience with her children, who often travel with the Dane on tours.
Olivia, who is already walking in her mother's footsteps, boasts of her skills on the court as her best 'hype woman'.
"It’s just so special and something I never thought I’d have the opportunity to do. It’s very hard as well because it’s like having two full-time jobs. It’s definitely exhausting, but it’s definitely worth it," she said.
She added:
“My son is too young but Olivia does understand. She’ll tell everyone when she watches tennis on TV, ‘My mum plays tennis and she’s so good’. She’s my hype woman and I love it.”
Caroline Wozniacki shares a strong friendship with the former World No. 1 Serena Williams, who served as one of the bridesmaids at her wedding in 2019. The two often celebrate each other through social media posts.
