"Your pregame fits always eat" - Coco Gauff adorably approves LA Sparks star Cameron Brink taking outfit inspiration from her

Coco Gauff gave her seal of approval to Cameron Brink's pre-game outfit inspired by her New Balance kit. Brink expressed her adoration for the American's fashion choices.

Cameron Brink made a statement appearance with her pre-match outfit before the Los Angeles Sparks' encounter with Indiana Fever. Being a New Balance athlete, she stunned in the sportswear's cut-sleeved top with a pleated skirt. Interestingly she drew inspiration from Coco Gauff for her look and gave her a shoutout.

"I am wearing my little new balance tennis set. I wanna be like Coco. New balance 650s, old school socks," Cameron Brink said.

Now Gauff has reacted to Brink appreciating her fashion choices. Taking to Instagram, she returned the favor by declaring that Brink's pre-game outfits were always stunning.

"Your pregame fits always eat," Gauff wrote.

Gauff has an inclination towards basketball owing to her father's past with the game. He used to play basketball for Georgia State University. The 2023 US Open champion also used to play basketball earlier.

With women's basketball attracting more eyeballs, the American shared her excitement for the same at a press conference at the Stuttgart Open. She also said that she had connected with some players on Instagram.

"It's very exciting to see the women's game especially in basketball getting as much traction now. They definitely deserve it. I've been Instagram Mutuals with some of the girls. Cameron Brink just signed with New Balance. And Angel Reese, had some DMs with her, and same with Caitlin and Paige Bueckers," she said.

Coco Gauff, at a press conference at the Stuttgart Open, said she hoped to play alongside WNBA Draft number one pick Caitlin Clark. She said that she wanted to see if she could guard Clark.

"Yeah, I don't know if I would be that type of player, but I will say if I could go in another life I would love to play on the same time as Caitlin Clark just to see if I could guard her. Obviously now I definitely couldn't, but I don't know, if I trained for it, just to see," Gauff said at the press conference.

The American drew parallels between movements in basketball and tennis. She also said that tennis players would be better in defense if they played basketball.

"I will say, like, the movement to basketball and tennis is very similar with the change of direction, so I feel like, you know, most tennis players would not be so bad at defense if they knew how to play basketball, but offense, no," she added.

Coco Gauff will face Dayana Yastremska in the third round at the 2024 French Open.
