Aussie pro Olivia Gadecki was born on April 24, 2002 and achieved her career-high singles ranking of No. 93, and a doubles ranking of No. 121 in January 2024. She made her WTA Tour debut at the 2021 Gippsland Trophy as a wildcard. She has yet to claim a WTA title, but has won three ITF singles titles and 10 ITF doubles titles, along with a WTA challenger doubles title.

Gadecki won her maiden main-draw singles match on the WTA Tour in February 2021 at the Phillip Island Trophy. She then defeated top seed, former Australian Open winner, and then world No. 4 Sofia Kenin to record her maiden top-10 victory. She made her major debut at the 2023 Australian Open, where she defeated Polina Kudermetova in the first round.
