Ons Jabeur is a Tunisian tennis player who is ranked No. 10 in singles by the WTA as of June 2024. She has won five WTA singles titles till date, including the 2022 Madrid Open, a WTA 1000 event, where she defeated American player Jessica Pegula in three sets in the final.
Ons Jabeur won her fifth ATP title at the 2023 Ningbo Open, defeating Diana Shnaider in the final. She is the highest-ranked African Arab tennis player in the WTA and ATP rankings history. At the 2022 Wimbledon, Jabeur became the first Arab woman to reach a grand slam final. Since then, she has reached two more major finals — the 2022 US Open and the 2023 Wimbledon.
Jabeur lost to Madison Keys in the quarterfinals of the 2024 Madrid Open. Her best grand slam result of the current season was reaching the 2024 French Open quarterfinals before falling to Coco Gauff. Jabeur gave Gauff a walkover at the 2024 Grass Court Championship quarterfinals.
