Eigth seed Grigor Dimitrov will take on local Arthur Rinderknech in a Round-of-16 clash at the 2024 Paris Masters on Thursday, October 31.

After receiving a bye in the first round, Dimitrov faced Argentine Tomas Martin Etcheverry in the second. The two fought for two hours and 45 minutes with the Bulgarian securing a comeback victory on Wednesday.

Etcheverry took the opening set in a tiebreaker but the No. 8 seed turned it around in the following sets, keeping his serve intact throughout. Dimitrov smashed 10 aces and 31 winners, breaking the Argentine's serve thrice to complete a 6-7(9), 6-3, 7-5 win.

Rinderknech and Michelsen broke each other's serves twice, with the former winning seven of the last 10 points, saving two set points, to secure a 7-6(6), 7-6(7) win.
