Paula Badosa is a Spanish professional tennis player who has a career-high ranking of No. 2 in the world. She has won four career singles titles, including the 2021 Indian Wells crown. As of January 2025, she is ranked No. 12 on the WTA.

Badosa turned pro in 2015, but had her breakthrough season in 2021. Since then, she hasn't looked back despite suffering from numerous injuries, including a stress fracture in her lower back at the Wimbledon Open. She received the Comeback Player of the Year by the WTA in 2024 after returning to the top 12, despite starting the season from No. 66.

Paula Badosa was born to Mieria Gibert and Josep Badosa in Manhattan, New York, USA. Both her parents are Spanish and currently work in the fashion industry.
