World No. 8 Petra Kvitova of Czech Republic won the singles title in the WTA Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championship, 2013. She defeated the world no. 7 Italian Sara Errani 6-2, 1-6, 6-1.
Kvitova took 1 hour and 40 minutes to overcome her opponent. Errani committed 8 double faults whereas Kvitova committed only one.
This is Kvitova’s 10th WTA title of her career and first of this season. She is also the first player from Czech Republic to clinch this title.
