President congratulates Sania Mirza

President Pranab Mukherjee Saturday congratulated Sania Mirza for winning the US Open mixed doubles title, a tweet from his official account said.

"President Mukherjee congratulates Sania Mirza on winning the US Open Mixed Doubles, says she has done India proud through this achievement," the tweet said.

Mirza and Brazilian Bruno Soares beat American-Mexican pair Abigail Spears and Santiago Gonzalez in the final Friday.
