Tommy Paul vs Jack Draper preview
Fifth seed Tommy Paul will take on home favorite Jack Draper in a tantalizing last-eight clash at the 2024 cinch Championships on Friday, June 21.
Paul kicked off his grasscourt campaign in 's-Hertogenbosch last week. He scraped through his opener against Alexei Popyrin. Compatriot Sebastian Korda, however, proved too strong for him the following round, sealing the win in straight sets 6-4, 6-2.
Paul opened in Queen's with a routine 6-4, 6-2 victory over Sebastian Baez. Up against the tricky leftie Alejandro Tabilo in the second round, Paul put together another clinical display on serve to seal an emphatic 6-3, 6-4 win. He faced only two break points on serve and won an impressive 71% points on his first serve.
Draper, meanwhile, picked up the first title of his career in Stuttgart last week. He beat Sebastian Ofner, Marcos Giron, Frances Tiafoe, and Brandon Nakashima en route to the finals where he saw off Matteo Berrettini to seal a 3-6, 7-6(5), 6-4 win.
Draper opened his home campaign in Queen's with a solid 6-3, 6-2 win over Mariano Navone in the first round. Up against top seed and defending champion Carlos Alcaraz in the following round, Draper played some of the best tennis of his career en route to a 7-6(3), 6-3 win.

Tommy Paul vs Jack Draper prediction
A blockbuster quarterfinal clash is on the cards for fans as Tommy Paul and Jack Draper prepare to battle it out for a spot in the semifinals.
Paul has delivered some great tennis all season but has been marred by inconsistency. His campaign in Queen's, however, has gotten off to a great start and he will look to continue in the same vein as he continues to stake his claim for the crown. He's looked particularly good on serve and has attacked the net at will.
Draper, meanwhile, has been on a great run recently. He displayed poise and composure in his last round against Carlos Alcaraz to seal arguably the biggest win of his career. He's been hitting the ball hard and offers a great mix of pace with his serve and backhand.
Neither player has dropped a set all week. Draper's all-around grasscourt game could, however, have the edge over Paul and could ultimately help him navigate through this clash.
Pick: Draper in three sets.
