Match #1200, US Open 2014 4th round: Beat Roberto Bautista Agut
In his 1200th professional match on tour, Federer faced Spain's Roberto Bautista Agut in the fourth round of the 2014 US Open.
On the day, Federer produced a vintage showing as he overwhelmed the Spaniard 6-4 6-3 6-2 under the New York lights to move into his 10th Flushing Meadows quarterfinal.
It was Federer's first tour meeting with Bautista Agut. The Swiss would go on to meet the Spaniard eight more times on tour and would emerge the victor on each occasion.

In the pair's first meeting, Federer ran out a comfortable 6-1 6-4 victor to move into the title match in the Queensland capital.
Match #1400, Indian Wells 2018 quarterfinal: Beat Hyeon Chung
Federer met 2017 NextGen ATP Finals winner Hyeon Chung for the second time on tour, in the quarterfinals of the 2018 Indian Wells Masters.
The Swiss maestro had gained a retirement victory in the pair's first meeting in the Australian Open semifinals earlier in the season. In the California desert he beat Chung 7-5 6-1 to move to within two wins of a first successful title defence at Indian Wells in 11 years.
Match #1500, Basel 2019 1st round: Beat Peter Gojowczyk
In his milestone 1500th professional match on tour, Federer faced Germany's Peter Gojowczyk in the opening round at 2019 Basel.
Federer marked his 19th appearance at his hometown with a brisk 6-2 6-1 win in under an hour to move to the second round for the 18th time.
It was the nine-time champion's 21st consecutive match win in Basel following title triumphs in his four previous appearances at the tournament (2014-15, 2017-18). The victory improved Federer's match win record in Basel to 72-9.
In the process, Federer improved his overall match wins record to 1232-268.
