The three-storey building is located in located in Wollerau in Schwyz county and has got a swimming pool, floor-to-ceiling windows along with large balconies with breathtaking views across the lake.

In 2008, the 33-year-old moved out of his birthplace Basel to Wollerau, which is considered to be a ‘tax paradise ’, a year before marrying his Slovakian-born wife Mirka.

The house is 20 minutes away from Zurich and an hour away from Basel. One of the reasons for Federer to move to Wollerau could be that the place has one of the lowest tax structures in Europe. This could also be the reason while several other big names like Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe Massa have also bought houses over there.

Kamata Development, a developer, has described it as "prestigious, contemporary architecture with extensive glazing,”
