No.2 seeds Rohan Bopanna of India and his British partner Colin Fleming fought hard and beat no.1 seeds Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi of Pakistan and Jean-Julien Rojer of Netherlands to win the men’s doubles event of the ATP Open 13 in Marseille.
They overcame their opponents 6-4, 7-6v(7-3) in 1 hour and 20 minutes. The Indo/British pair served 9 aces in the match.
The second set of the match went into a tiebreaker. The Indo/British pair held their nerves and won the tournament in two sets. This is Bopanna’s 8th career ATP doubles title.
