Samantha Stosur stretched her winning streak to nine matches as she beat her doubles partner Svetlana Kuznetsova 6-2, 6-4 to reach her second straight Kremlin Cup final.
Coming off a win at Osaka last week, Stosur looked in fine fettle to ease past a potentially tough match against the home favourite Kuznetsova. Kuznetsova struggled with her serve in the first set when she was unable to hold a single serve game, winning a mere six out of 23 points on her serve.
Stosur, a former US Open winner, will face either local favourite Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova or Simona Halep in the final Sunday.
