Top seeds Sania Mirza and Bruno Soares defeated unseeded Australian pairing of Casey Dellacqua and John Peers to enter the mixed doubles semi-finals of the Australian Open here Wednesday.
The Indo-Brazilian pair broke twice in the first set to take the set in just 23 minutes. The No. 1 seeds hit 18 winners and committed just 10 unforced errors to clinch the match 6-2, 6-2 in 53 minutes at Melbourne Park.
Sania had won the title in 2009 partnering compatriot Mahesh Bhupathi.
