Jim Parsons is well known for his character ‘Sheldon Cooper’ on the TV show ‘The Big Bang theory’. He is loved by millions across the world for his excellent comic timing and his chemistry with co-star Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting on the show. The two bond well not only on the sets but off the screen as well. They share a common love for tennis and are not afraid to show it.
Cuoco-Sweeting was once a nationally ranked amateur tennis player. Now, of course, she is married to a professional player – Ryan Sweeting!
Parsons, meanwhile, referred to Wimbledon as “heaven” on his Instagram account.
And he may well be the most enthusiastic fan of rising tennis star Eugenie Bouchard. He and his partner Todd Spiewak watched Eugenie play her quarterfinal match against Alize Cornet.
Parsons spoke about how he met and developed a relationship with Eugenie.
“She played her first professional Wimbledon last year, and her manager contacted my manager, and apparently she watches Big Bang, and he knew I was a fan of tennis and he said, ‘Is there any chance Jim could come to Wimbledon? He could sit in the players’ box with us’,” he said.
