Jannik Sinner vs Daniil Medvedev preview
The marquee exhibition event, the Six Kings Slam will get underway as the World No. 1 Jannik Sinner will take on World No. 5 Daniil Medvedev. The winner of the match is slated to face off against former World No. 1 Novak Djokovic in the semifinal.
2024 has been the year of revelation for Sinner. The Italian has been in tremendous form in the season, with a 65-6 record and seven titles. The title includes two Grand Slams for the Italian at the Australian Open and the US Open. He has also won Masters 1000 events in Miami and Cincinnati and entered the exhibition in Riyadh on the back of a triumphant run at the Shanghai Masters, winning 7-6(4), 6-3 over four-time champion Djokovic in the final.
For Daniil Medvedev, 2024 has been an underperforming season. The former World No. 1 has reached two finals in Melbourne (Australian Open) and Indian Wells (BNP Paribas Open) but has yet to win a title in the season. The Russian has had some decent results, in the last few months, including a quarterfinal run at the US Open, the Shanghai Masters, and the semifinal of the China Open. He lost the first two matches to Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz in Beijing.

Jannik Sinner vs Daniil Medvedev prediction
Sinner and Medvedev have faced each other five times in 2024, with the Italian winning four of those contests. The only win for Medvedev came at the Wimbledon quarterfinal which the Russian won 6-7(7), 6-4, 7-6(4), 2-6, 6-3 in a thrilling five-set contest.
On the other hand, Sinner defeated Medvedev in the Australian Open final, despite losing the first two sets. He also dominantly defeated the Russian player at the Miami Open semifinal, the quarterfinals at the US Open, and the Shanghai Masters.
Sinner has lost only three matches on hard courts this year, two of which have come at the hands of Carlos Alcaraz, whereas Medvedev has struggled to play his best tennis against the Italian against whom he had a 6-0 lead in the head-to-head, to begin with.
Pick- Sinner to win in straight sets.
