Britain’s Royal Mail will issue commemorative postal stamps to honour tennis star Andy Murray. The stamps will go on sale from August 8, exactly a month after the Scot was crowned the Wimbledon champion.
The special stamps will come in a collectors’ set of four, two with Murray lifting the trophy and the other two with Murray in action.
“His historic win at Wimbledon has made the nation proud, and we can now celebrate his success with this new stamp issue,” a Royal Mail official said.

This will be the second time that Murray finds himself on the postal stamps. He was previously honoured with a special stamp issue when he won gold in the Olympics last year in London.
