The Serb also praised Carlos Alcaraz's potential, suggesting he could claim several Olympic gold medals in the future.

Chris Evert voices concerns about Naomi Osaka’s mentality ahead of US Open
Chris Evert expressed her worries about Naomi Osaka’s mental readiness ahead of the 2024 US Open. In a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times, Evert discussed the Japanese tennis star’s prospects at the New York Major.
The American believes Osaka still possesses the skills to make a strong showing at Flushing Meadows but acknowledged that succeeding at a Grand Slam requires more than just skill.
"I know she has the game, but it takes more than the game. It takes a lot of confidence and a lot of focus. We’ll see. She’s in a different part of her life right now where it seems she’s so calm and she’s so relaxed and happy and peaceful," Evert told Los Angeles Times.
Evert further suggested that Osaka might need to adjust her mental approach to contend for the most prestigious titles again.
"The mental problems haven’t really affected her. She has a child, which she is madly in love with. Sometimes when you are too happy, that can’t always be good either, I don’t know, for us to be intense and fierce," Evert added.
Two-time champion Naomi Osaka will take on 10th seed Jelena Ostapenko in the first round.
Danielle Collins recounts nightmare of sitting in Vomit on New York flight
Danielle Collins opened up about her horrifying experience after she was forced to sit in vomit for three hours during her flight to New York ahead of the US Open. Taking to her Instagram story, Collins criticized Delta Airlines for not maintaining hygiene and not having cleaning supplies on board.
"Full flight and forced to sit in someone else's throw up from the previous flight for the next three hours. Seems logical that you wouldn’t have any cleaning supplies on board thank you delta," Collins wrote.
11th seed Danielle Collins will face compatriot Caroline Dolehide in the first round.
Andy Roddick extends full support to Jannik Sinner amid doping controversy
Andy Roddick urged everyone to withhold judgment on Jannik Sinner's failed drug test controversy until the full story is revealed. Speaking on his 'Served with Andy Roddick' podcast, Roddick emphasized that facts are more important than emotions in such situations.
"I care. I think facts matter more than feelings in this scenario. And I'm not going to tell you the way to feel. I'm going to tell you as much information, and then judge away, but at least judge away knowing processes, etc," Roddick said (11:40).
Andy Roddick recounted an example of an ATP player who, after testing positive, found out that 40 players were contaminated by a banned substance from a specific dish. The American emphasized that contamination sources can be unclear and that people should hold off on negative judgments until all information is available.
