Max Purcell breaks silence on his doping ban

US Open doubles winner Max Purcell has been provisionally suspended for doping by the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA). The Australian star wrote a big letter about the whole situation.

Purcell revealed that he tested positive for doping due to an error in the medical clinic. The Australian came forward and admitted to violating the anti-doping program and is now provisionally suspended ahead of the new season. Purcell wrote a lengthy letter on social media clarifying his situation.

“As announced by the ITIA today, I have voluntarily accepted a provisional suspension since I unknowingly received an IV infusion of vitamins above the allowable limit of 100 ml.
