Former World No. 1 Mats Wilander discussed Novak Djokovic's distinct edge over Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer.

In a recent Eurosport interview, Wilander highlighted that Djokovic's game has had no weaknesses, unlike Federer and Nadal, who have exploitable areas.

"What we didn't realise is that there were no weaknesses anywhere in his game on any surface," Mats Wilander said. "I think it took a while for everybody to understand that he doesn't have weaknesses. [Roger Federer] has a weakness. [Rafael Nadal] has weaknesses. [Novak Djokovic] doesn't really have a weakness," Wilander said.

Wilander noted that Djokovic's greatness was less obvious at first but became clear through his consistently strong backhand, forehand, and serve. He even likened Djokovic's serve to Federer's, calling it the best in the sport.

Andy Roddick believes Rafael Nadal could have done well at the 2024 Wimbledon Championships if he had chosen to compete. Nadal opted out of this year's grass-court Grand Slam to focus solely on preparing for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Speaking on his podcast 'Served With Andy Roddick,' the former American tennis star mentioned that Nadal's decision to skip Wimbledon was understandable due to the physical challenges of switching surfaces.

"He (Nadal) could have won matches and made a run (at Wimbledon) if he chose to play, but I get it. Switching surfaces sucks for the body. All of a sudden, you go from building up reserves on clay, grinding out matches, your bodywork, and all of a sudden you're dealing with lower back issues on grass because you're bending and twisting and that's not of need to him," Roddick said. Roddick added that after competing in the Barcelona Open, Madrid Open, Italian Open, and French Open on clay, Nadal could have transitioned to grass to prepare for a potentially strong showing at the All England Club. However, Roddick emphasized his delight in seeing the Spanish tennis icon participate in the Olympics instead.
