Novak Djokovic's wife Jelena congratulated Boris Becker on his third marriage
Novak Djokovic’s wife Jelena warmly congratulated Boris Becker on his marriage to his girlfriend Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro, following their two-year relationship.
Becker, who coached Djokovic from 2013 to 2016, celebrated his wedding with Lilian in a stunning three-day event in Portofino, Italy. Lilian, a political risk manager, began dating the six-time Grand Slam champion in 2022 and supported him during his legal issues that year when he was imprisoned for hiding assets during his bankruptcy.
The German tennis legend shared moments from their special day on social media. In the now-deleted post, his sons, Noah and Elias, could be seen accompanying him down the aisle and standing with him during the ceremony.
"New beginnings… I want to thank Victor Monteiro for his blessings and everyone that celebrated this special day with us. Let me introduce you to the Monteiro-Becker family," Becker captioned his Instagram post.
Jelena congratulated the couple, praising both Becker and Lilian for looking "beautiful".
"Congratulations! you both look beautiful!" Jelena commented.
This is Becker’s third marriage, following his previous unions with German actress Barbara Feltus (1993-2001) and Dutch model Sharlely 'Lily' Kerssenberg (2009-2018).

Alexander Zverev addresses Roger Federer’s recent criticism regarding the German's gameplay
Alexander Zverev has addressed Roger Federer’s criticism regarding his passive gameplay.
This year, Zverev advanced to the fourth round and beyond in all four Grand Slams, including reaching the French Open final, where he was defeated by Carlos Alcaraz. Despite several close attempts, the German has yet to secure a Grand Slam title.
Federer, speaking in Berlin ahead of the 2024 Laver Cup, commented that Zverev tends to play too passively during key points and needs to adopt a more aggressive strategy to win Grand Slams. The Swiss specifically referenced Zverev's performance against the eventual runner-up Taylor Fritz in the US Open, where the German lost 6-7(2), 6-3, 4-6, 6-7(3).
In response, Zverev acknowledged Federer's critique and admitted he wasn't at his best in the match against Fritz at the New York Major.
"That's nothing I don't know. It's absolutely clear to me that I didn't play the way I want to play. That was a terrible game from me. That's why it's completely okay what Roger said," Zverev said, via Blue News.
The World No. 2 is currently in Berlin, where he will participate in the Laver Cup (20-22 September). The German is a part of Team Europe, which consists of Jan-Lennard Struff, Daniil Medvedev, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Grigor Dimitrov, Flavio Cobolli, Casper Ruud, Carlos Alcaraz, Thomas Enqvist (Vice-Captain), and Bjorn Borg (Captain).

Taylor Fritz reflects on his 'destructive habits' after heartbreaking US Open exit
Taylor Fritz shared that he resorted to playing video games for 12 hours a day and indulging in unhealthy eating habits as a way to cope with his 2024 US Open final loss to top seed Jannik Sinner.
Fritz had an impressive run, defeating Camilo Ugo Carabelli, Matteo Berrettini, Francisco Comesana, Casper Ruud, Alexander Zverev, and Frances Tiafoe to reach his first Grand Slam final.
During a recent appearance on the 'Nothing Major' podcast with Sam Querrey, John Isner, Steve Johnson, and Jack Sock, Fritz was asked how he had been handling things since the emotional US Open defeat. The 26-year-old admitted to falling into "destructive habits," including spending up to 12 hours a day playing video games and eating poorly.
"To be honest, I feel probably worse than I would have expected to feel if you told me I was making a Slam final. I have been sitting at my desk, playing video games like 12 hours a day, eating pretty unhealthy. Honestly really just destructive habits when I am by myself after a tournament," Fritz said.
Fritz is currently in Berlin, where he will participate in the Laver Cup as a part of Team World, which consists of Francisco Cerundolo, Tiafoe, Alejandro Tabilo, Ben Shelton, Thanasi Kokkinakis, John McEnroe (Captain), and Patrick McEnroe (Vice-Captain).

Alexander Zverev lightheartedly teases Grigor Dimitrov after his striptease video with Novak Djokovic goes viral
Alexander Zverev playfully teased Grigor Dimitrov for his viral striptease video with Novak Djokovic during an exhibition match in Bulgaria.
Djokovic and Dimitrov entertained the crowd with a playful striptease at the 'Postbank Visa Tennis Gala,' organized by the Grigor Dimitrov Foundation on 17 September at Arena Sofia Hall.
During a changeover, Djokovic danced shirtless to the arena's music, earning cheers from the audience. The Serb then playfully encouraged Dimitrov to join in, and the Bulgarian obliged by slowly removing his shirt to reveal his abs.

At a pre-tournament Laver Cup press conference, Dimitrov was asked if fans could expect a similar show during the event. Zverev, jokingly chimed in, saying that if Team Europe won, Dimitrov would go "naked" for female fans and their captain, Bjorn Borg.
"We win, Grigor gets naked, just for the female fans. And for Bjorn," the German said.
Both Alexander Zverev and Grigor Dimitrov are set to compete for Team Europe in the upcoming Laver Cup, with the latter stepping in for Rafael Nadal, who withdrew just before the event.
