Stefanos Tsitsipas sought comfort in the company of his girlfriend, Paula Badosa, after a 6-7(5), 3-6 quarterfinal loss to the seventh seed Arthur Fils at the 2024 Swiss Indoors Basel. The defeat has severely impacted Tsitsipas' chances of qualifying for the ATP Finals (November 10-17).

As a former 2019 ATP Finals champion, Tsitsipas has consistently appeared at the year-end championships for the past five years. This season, however, his qualification prospects are dim.
Following the Swiss Indoors loss, Tsitsipas is ranked 12th in the ATP Race to Turin with 2,975 points, earning 100 points from the tournament. Up next for Tsitsipas is the Paris Masters, which will take place from October 28 to November 3.
Paula Badosa, on the other hand, ended her 2024 season after announcing her withdrawal from the Toray Pan Pacific Open Tennis in Tokyo due to health issues.

Taylor Fritz gave fans a sneak peek into his indoor basketball match with his son Jordan, admitting he faced a "heartbreaking" defeat against the seven-year-old.
Days ahead of his 2024 Paris Masters campaign, Fritz enjoyed some quality time with Jordan, his son with ex-wife Raquel Pedraza. The pair playfully competed for over an hour, with Fritz narrowly losing 21-19.
"Shout out to this company I randomly found online… Jordan and I always play basketball inside and I felt like he was getting too big to play on those small indoor wall hoops, took me about 2 hours to build this thing but was so worth it," Taylor Fritz wrote on his Instagram story.
"I ended up getting so into it I forgot I was recording and ended up with over an hour of us playing. But for the sake of time, I will just post this clip of the final score in my heartbreaking 21-19 loss to Jordan," Fritz joked.

Naomi Osaka brings baby Shai along for a Tokyo shopping date
Naomi Osaka shared adorable moments from a shopping outing in Tokyo with her one-year-old daughter, Shai.
Osaka recently concluded her 2024 season early due to abdominal and back injuries, leading her to withdraw from the Hong Kong Tennis Open, Kinoshita Group Japan Open, Toray Pan Pacific Open, and the upcoming Billie Jean King Cup.
Osaka remained in her home country, capturing charming moments of her day with Shai, from strolling Tokyo's streets to stopping by the Louis Vuitton store.
