Tennis legend Rafael Nadal's son captured everyone's attention as he watched his father deliver a 6-4, 6-4 defeat to fifth seed Cameron Norrie in the Round of 16 at the 2024 Nordea Open.

Social media was flooded with clips and images of Rafa Jr. intently observing the match. He was sitting on his mother Maria Francisca Perello’s lap and they both watched the match with full concentration.

Wildcard Rafael Nadal advanced to the quarterfinals where he will take on fourth seed Mariano Navone on July 19. Nadal and partner Casper Ruud also reached the doubles semifinal, where they will face third seeds Orlando Luz and Rafael Matos on July 20.


Aryna Sabalenka digs deep into boyfriend Georgios Frangulis' cultural background

Aryna Sabalenka revealed that she is immersing herself in her boyfriend Georgios Frangulis' culture.

During a Q&A session on Instagram, Sabalenka was questioned about her familiarity with Brazilian and Greek culture, subtly alluding to her relationship with Frangulis. The Belarusian tennis star, who is recovering from a shoulder injury, shared that she is learning Portuguese and felt fortunate to have visited Greece with him.

"I am learning Portuguese and was lucky enough to travel to Greece! So i Guess you could say I'm doing both... 😂 ," Sabalenka answered one fan.

Andy Roddick's wife Brooklyn Decker shared pictures from their family summer holiday in the US and Italy with their son Hank and daughter Sophie.

Decker detailed their activities on Instagram, including a clip from an Alanis Morissette concert where she danced while the former American tennis star tried to focus on the performance.

"Signs of summer:1. Kids = Koalas 2. Mama D’s Shishitos (my favorite thing we grow.) 3. Buddy reunions 4. Drunken summer concerts 5. Steamy Southern windows. 6. Black bears, bobcats and snakes, oh my," wrote Decker on Instagram.

The 37-year-old also posted pictures from their Italian vacation, featuring her posing inside a cave and their children admiring jellyfish in an aquarium. The family was joined by songwriter Ross Copperman and other friends at a beautiful villa.

Iga Swiatek shared glimpses of her summer time in Poland as she prepares for the 2024 Paris Olympics. Swiatek has been relishing some downtime in her home country after her Wimbledon run ended with a 6-3, 1-6, 2-6 loss to Yulia Putintseva in the third round.

The Polish tennis star shared a series of photos on her Instagram showing her having fun in the sun, doing some gardening, eating out, and visiting new places. She also posted photos and videos of her sweating it out on clay courts and in the gym for the upcoming Olympics.

Eugenie Bouchard and Bianca Andreescu hilariously discussed their mutual dislike of warm-up sessions.

On Instagram, Andreescu posted a photo of herself looking exhausted on a grass court in an all-white tennis outfit and mentioned her dislike for warm-ups in the caption.

"Caption thisss, When coach says “just a warm-up” but you’re already out of breath 😂," she wrote.

Bouchard agreed in the comments, noting the challenges of the physical warm-up routine.

"Omg that’s the worst. Especially when it’s the physical warm up to the warm up," Bouchard commented.

Andreescu recently came back from an injury break at the 2024 French Open, with her last appearance at the Wimbledon Championships, where she lost 7-6(4), 6-1 to eventual runner-up Jasmine Paolini in the third round. Bouchard, on the other hand, is playing professional Pickleball these days, but she has not quit tennis completely.


Alexander Zverev argues with the chair umpire over disputed ball bounce call during Hamburg Open 2R

Alexander Zverev was furious with the chair umpire after a disputed double bounce call led to his loss of the first set against Hugo Gaston in the Round of 16 at the 2024 Hamburg European Open.

The controversy unfolded late in the first set during a tough rally where Zverev’s backhand smash was returned by Gaston, who then managed to hit a cross-court backhand to win the set 6-4.

Zverev was enraged, believing the ball had bounced twice before Gaston’s return. He questioned the chair umpire and even asked Gaston to acknowledge the double bounce, but his complaints were dismissed. Despite calling for the supervisor, the German tennis star had to continue the match down a set.

Defending champion Zverev went on to win the match 4-6, 6-2, 7-5 to advance to the quarterfinals where he will take on eighth seed Zhang Zhizhen on July 19.
