Rennae Stubbs slams Simona Halep for her constant attacks on Iga Swiatek

Reanne Stubbs slammed Simona Halep for her comments on Iga Swiatek. Halep has been constantly attacking the former World No. 1 after she was suspended for doping.

Halep underwent a longer ban than Swiatek after she tested positive for doping and claimed that there were different rules for different people. However, Stubbs did not take kindly to these comments and said that Halep should not have gone public with her comments.

"I am a bit surprised by Halep going hard though, publicly. I don't think that's a good look for her. I think she's just, she's angry obviously, but don't be angry at Iga, be angry at the system. Like she's, you know, there's a lot of players that are being angry at the player, be angry at the system. It's not, it wasn't their fault. They play within the rules. If they didn't, they wouldn't be playing right now," Stubbs said.

Rennae Stubbs compares Carlos Alcaraz's playing style to Roger Federer

Serena Williams' former coach, Rennae Stubbs compared Carlos Alcaraz's playing style to Roger Federer. She added that Alcaraz is just as 'flashy' as the Swiss maestro at the peak of his game.

Speaking on her podcast, Stubbs said that Alcaraz is similar to a younger version of Roger Federer, who tried outrageous shots but eventually mellowed down.

"Roger was a little bit like (Carlos Alcaraz) as well, like a little flashy, a little bit over the top, you know, and then he's like, I wanna win these matches, so I probably should just hit that forehand in and crosscourt," Stubbs said.
