Gauff notched straight-set victories over Jessica Pegula, Iga Swiatek, and top seed Aryna Sabalenka, eventually edging out Zheng Qinwen in the final with a score of 3-6, 6-4, 7-6(2).
Once back in Florida, Gauff enjoyed a cozy seafood boil with her grandmother, sharing an adorable moment from the outing on her Instagram story.
"Seafood date with my gma. loll after being overseas and in season all I wanted was a seafood boil and I'm hitting up wing stop tmmrw best believe," she wrote.

Jannik Sinner’s mother, Siglinde, got emotional as she witnessed her son accepting the Year-End World No. 1 trophy in Turin, Italy. Currently competing in the ATP Finals, Sinner is set to conclude the season ranked World No. 1 for the first time.
ATP Chairman Andrea Gaudenzi presented Sinner with the trophy in a heartfelt ceremony at the Inalpi Arena where the Italian's parents, Hanspeter and Siglinde, watched on from the stands.
In a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), the Italian's mother Siglinde was seen tearfully emotional, while his father looked on proudly as his son accepted the honor.
