A fan, known as trentotogradii on X (formerly Twitter), asked Alcaraz, "Casate conmigo" (marry me in Spanish), which made him shy, though he laughed it off. When she asked if he heard her, Alcaraz confirmed he had.
"Here’s Carlos saying he heard me scream “casate conmigo” 😭😭😭😭😭 I love him soooo much, the way he bursts out laughing when I tell him," she wrote.
Drawn in John Newcombe Group, third seed Carlos Alcaraz currently ranks third in group standings. Alcaraz kicked off his Turin campaign with a 1-6, 5-7 loss to sixth seed Casper Rudd.
