8. Qizhong Forest Sports City Arena, Shanghai

The Qizhong Stadium in Shanghai is one of the most unique stadiums of all. It is inspired and built like the flower magnolia, which is Shanghai's official city flower.

The retractable roof has eight flower petal-like structures that open or close in just eight minutes. It has got a capacity of holding 15,000 people in total.

This is also the official stadium that conducts the Shanghai Open every year.

7. Connecticut Tennis Center, New Haven

Better known as the Cullmen-Heyman Tennis Center, this has a capacity of accommodating 15,500 people. It is a part of Yale University with 17 outdoor and 8 indoor tennis courts.

Its capacity also makes it the third largest tennis court in the United States.

This stadium hosts the Connecticut Open and the ITA Regional Championships as part of the national tennis calendar every year.
