20-year-old Alexander Zverev, who hails from Germany, had a successful year which saw him win five singles titles, including two Masters 1000s - Rome and Montreal.
Zverev's best Grand Slam finish came at Wimbledon this year where he made it to the fourth round. He had a lackluster end to 2017, falling early in the US Open before getting knocked out in the round robin stage of the Nitto ATP year-end Finals. He will be looking to get off to a strong start in 2018 and reach the last eight of a Grand Slam for the first time, at the Australian Open.
