French-American tennis star Maxime Cressy will take on Hungarian Zsombor Piros in the first round of the 2024 US Open qualifiers.
The 27-year-old enters the US Open qualifiers after a Round of 64 loss in the Citi Open against Daniel Elahi Galán in straight sets. His best US Open performance has been a second round appearance in 2020 and 2021.
Zsombor Piros, on the other hand, would be looking to improve his record at the US Open. He has previously failed to qualify for the main event and would be looking to break that drought. Piros enters the qualifiers on the back of a loss at the Challenger Porto against Jaime Faria in straight sets.
