19-year old Canadian Eugenie Bouchard has been the story of the Australian Open. The teenager became the first Canadian woman ever to reach the semifinals at the grand slam when she beat Ana Ivanovic in the QF.
Genie’s popularity has sky rocketed too with her ‘Genie Army’ supporting her at the slam while millions of fans who are clearly smitten by her are raving about her on social media platforms.
Bouchard was asked after her QF win over Ivanovic about who she’d like to date if she had to pick anyone in the world. And the self-confessed Justin Bieber fan sent a sweet little message to the pop-star and in the process broke millions of hearts.
