Leander Paes, the 2015 mixed doubles Wimbledon champion, had nothing but words of praise for the men’s singles champion Novak Djokovic. During an interview with CNN-IBN, Paes noticed Djokovic in his car while he was on his way to the Wimbledon ball. What followed was a friendly exchange between the two, which revealed the amount of respect the duo have for each other.
Leander shouts out to Djokovic, “You inspired me today brother”, to which Djokovic says, ”You inspire me always.”

After this, Paes goes on to compliment the World No. 1 on the manner in which he won against one of the best players in the world, Roger Federer. Paes also added that Djokovic is a fine human being and this is what champions are made of.
