Video: Reliving Federer - Nadal's epic rallies on grass

The champions at their peak

Before Novak Djokovic rose to prominence, the main rivalry that existed in men’s tennis was between Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer. In the 2006 and 2007 Wimbledon finals, Roger and Rafa produced some sublime tennis which had never been witnessed before on Centre Court. Federer won both the finals.

In the 2008 final, the match or rather the battle that took place produced tennis of such beautiful quality between the two that many touted it as the greatest match in the history of tennis. The match, which lasted an epic 4 hours 48 minutes, saw Nadal beat Federer 6-4, 6-4, 6–7(5–7), 6–7(8–10), 9–7.

The video highlight of all the amazing rallies from the three finals shows the peak of their rivalry.
