US Open champion and world number two Rafael Nadal, on a visit to South Korea, thanked his team for making 2013, his comeback year on tour after a six month lay off, the most remarkable year in his career.
Rafael Nadal: “This year is very crucial to me. As you all know I have severely suffered from a knee injury, which is why 2013 is a year that I will not forget in my tennis career. The biggest motivation that enabled me to overcome hardship and achieve new victory was my team. Teamwork was of great help more than ever. I think I was able to win because my team were with me, they were supportive of me every time I was having difficulties and they helped me to get through them.”
