Novak Djokovic beat Roger Federer 3-6, 6-3, 7-6(3) in the finals of the BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells.
Djokovic now has 17 Masters 1000 titles in his career, tied for third with Andre Agassi, behind Federer (21) and Nadal (26).
Despite Federer’s loss in the final, the Swiss will move up to No. 5 in the latest ATP rankings.
