Rod Laver and Roger Federer hitting a tennis ball on the same court has been a dream of almost every tennis fan. There have been poems written about what a spectacle it would have been. There have been hundreds of articles which have dissected every possible strategy & outcome of this Goliath v Goliath match up.

For close to two minutes on 8th January 2014, the dream became a reality. Out walked Rod Laver to the arena named after him & hit a few balls with the modern day legend Roger Federer. While it does bring thoughts of “what could have been”, tennis fans around the world must have been so happy to watch this happen.

This is probably one of the most historic moments in tennis. Two of the greatest ever to have played the sport, on centre court, at the Australian Open. Watch the video & be privileged!
