Kei Nishikori produced a stirring comeback after going a set and a break down to defeat Roger Federer in the quarterfinals of the Sony Open in Miami.
Nishikori lost the first set 6-3 but then held his own against the former World No. 1 who was playing some high quality tennis himself. After taking the second set 7-5, the Japanese youngster broke Federer in the 10th game of the decider to take the set 6-4.
Nishikori will now play Novak Djokovic in the semifinals.
