Stanislas Wawrinka continued his golden run in 2014 and won his first Masters 1000 title at the Monte Carlo Masters by defeating fellow Swiss Roger Federer in three sets.
Wawrinka lost the first set 4-6 after getting broken in the fifth game of the match but came back to take second set in a tie-break.
The Australian Open champion then broke Federer to start off the third set and never looked back. Wawrinka won the deciding set 6-2 and with it, his first title at Monte Carlo.
