In the year 2010, Novak Djokovic channeled his inner Shakira to create a hilarious parody of Rafael Nadal and the Colombian singer's 'Gypsy' video.
Nadal featured in Shakira's hit single 'Gypsy' video that came out 13 years ago. The Spaniard, who was 23 years old then, shared a few intimate moments with Shakira in the video. The track was originally written in Spanish and was titled 'Gitana' and was part of the famous singer's eighth studio album - She Wolf.
Djokovic and his compatriot Viktor Troicki came together to recreate the song's video during the 2010 French Open. The World No. 1 donned a blonde wig to play Shakira's part while Troicki sat on a chair bare-chested to imitate Nadal.
The 24-time Grand Slam champion grooved like the three-time Grammy-winning artist in front of Troicki, who sat on the chair with a guitar in his hand.

Novak Djokovic - "I think Rafael Nadal would be proud of my performance of Shakira"
Novak Djokovic later reflected on his parody, saying that he and Viktor Troicki were "very proud" of their performances.
"Sometimes I'm not aware of the things that I'm doing. I think you have to ask Troicki, as well, my partner in that video. We are very proud," he said at a press conference during the 2010 French Open.
The Serb revealed he hadn't had a word with Rafael Nadal after the video went public, but asserted the Spaniard would be 'proud' of his effort.
"I haven't spoken to Rafa still what he thinks about it. I think he would be proud of my performance of Shakira. I really put a lot of energy and effort into that. I've tried to, you know, impress my partner who was sitting on the chair and playing a little guitar. I was shaking whatever I had in there. Yeah, it was fun," the Serb added.
The 36-year-old was addressing the media after his second-round victory over Kei Nishikori. He admitted to feeling nervous before heading into the match against Nishikori and mentioned the parody calmed his nerves a bit.
"It make me relax a little bit. You know, I was nervous before the match, and then I was laughing unbelievable for two minutes. What we have done? It's just crazy," the Serb noted.
Nadal won the title at the claycourt Slam that year while Djokovic finished the tournament as a quarterfinalist. Despite winning the first two sets, the third seed lost the quarterfinal to Jurgen Melzer, who was seeded 22nd.
