London, July 7 (IANS/EFE) Serbian Novak Djokovic claimed the top stop once again in the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings on Monday, following his second Wimbledon title win Sunday, after 628 days away from the top.
Djokovic won his seventh Grand Slam title defeating Roger Federer in an epic final. Rafael Nadal now occupies the second spot after his loss in the fourth round at Wimbledon. Federer climbed to third place while compatriot Stanislas Wawrinka is fourth. Czech Tomas Berdych is in fifth place, replacing Briton Andy Murray, who dropped to 10th.
