Rafael Nadal astounded onlookers at the Wimbledon village, when he put on a show of impeccable concentration and immaculate control to score 406 at the Wimbjuggledon conducted by Babolat. Shot as a part of their commercial activities, Babolat invited a host of professionals – including Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Caroline Wozniacki and Aga Radwanska besides Nadal to try and keep the ball on the racket and off the grass.
As usual Nadal was his understated self, saying that he once did a 100, but hadn’t tried it in 20 years. After watching this video, you will realise that the Spaniard was perhaps secretly practicing the skill ahead of this commercial.
In this video you can enjoy watching Nadal keep the ball tiptoeing on the side of his racket. The Spaniard even found time to taunt Aga Radwanska as he went about his business like a completeley besotted teenager. Needless to say, no one even came close to the number achieved by Rafa and Babolat declared him the “The 2014 Wimbjuggledon Champion”
We know several monstrous things that he can do with that racket of his. Now see him tug at your heart with his childlike enthusiasm, playing like a boy with racket and ball.
