This years Wimbledon has reached its quarter final stage so far. With some high quality tennis being served up and also with Rafael Nadal crashing out, the quarterfinal line up looks exciting enough. The quarter final line up is as below.

Novak Djokovic (1) vs Florian Mayer (31): World No 1 Novak Djokovic, who has had a smooth sailing so far will face Germany’s Florian Mayer. Mayer who has played some impressive tennis in the run up to the quarters will definitely not be an easy walk over for Serbian Djokovic. Though in red hot form, it remains to be seen whether Djokovic can hold off an in form Mayer and get set to face a potential opponent in Roger Federer in the semis.

Roger Federer (3) vs Mikhail Youzhny (26): Six Time champion Federer faces Russian Youzhny an opponent he has too easily beaten in the past. Should probably be another routine victory for ‘Fed-Ex’.

* Last meeting:Roger Federer beat Mikhail Youzhny 6-3 6-4.

** A Djokovic/Federer semi final looks inevitable at the moment.

David Ferrer (7) vs Andy Murray (4): Spaniard Ferrer, a first time quarter finalist at the championships will undoubtedly have his work cut out against Scotsman Murray. Ferrer who beat Juan Martin del Potro in the last round will have to play the game off his life to beat Murray and reach his first Wimbledon semi final.

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (5) vs Philipp Kohlschreiber (27): Last years semi finalist Tsonga faces Kohlschreiber .Tsonga who had beaten Federer in the semis last year will look to ward off Kohlschreibers challenge and face Federer in a potential final.

** The winner of the Ferrer/Murray game faces the winner of the Kohlschreiber/Tsonga game in the semifinals.
