Julie Berman played Lulu Spencer on General Hospital between 2005 and 2013. She joined the cast as Lulu's character quickly aged, taking over the role from child actor, Tessa Allen. The audience loved her resemblance with her on-screen mother, Laura Spencer, played by Genie Francis. After her exit, Emme Rylan stepped into the character, playing Lulu till the character fell into a coma in 2020.
Julie's run through Port Charles found the young adult Lulu falling for her half-brother, Dillon Quartermaine. After lying about Dillon's girlfriend, Georgie, Lulu became intimate with him and got pregnant. The rebellious Lulu aborted the pregnancy despite Tracy and other Quartermaines forbidding her.
General Hospital fans rejoiced when Lulu became romantically interested in Dante Falconeri, and the duo married in 2011. 1) Multi-talented Julie belongs to a non-acting family
Julie Marie Berman was born on November 3, 1983, to parents Peter and Renee Berman in Los Angeles, California. While not much is known about her parents' careers, her husband comes from a non-acting background.
Berman's husband, Michael Grady, is a real estate agent. Michael's father was a football coach and he was also connected to the game for some time.
Besides taking care of her family, the talented actor continues her social work, animal welfare, and art. Her paintings are out for exhibitions and sale.
2) Julie is a mother of two boys
After her marriage with Grady in 2008, while she was portraying Lulu on General Hospital, Julie had her first child in February 2019. The couple named the baby Asher Dean Grady. Three years later, the couple welcomed their second child in January 2022. The parents named the baby Holden Jeffrey Grady.
Her social media has many posts featuring her two kids, as Julie often posts photographs of her family with the child and the toddler.

3) Julie graduated after joining General Hospital
As fans know, Julie joined GH in 2005 and continued in the soap till 2013. In May 2006, she graduated from the University of South California. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Critical Studies in Cinema-Television. The actor was in her mid-semester of senior year when she joined the soap.
Julie told Soap Opera Digest in a May 15, 2007 interview, that working while completing her education was hard work but she did not want to be lazy. Interestingly, she belonged to the famous Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority while at the university.
4) Julie started acting at the age of six
Julie's parents supported her as she began acting at the age of six. Her acting projects consisted of more than a hundred commercials. She signed her first television series while in high school; a family drama series titled 7th Heaven, where she played a teenager, Shelby Connor.

5) Julie's portrayal of Lulu won her Daytime Emmy Awards
Julie was nominated in the category of Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series three times and in the Outstanding Supporting Actress category once for her portrayal of Lulu Spencer on General Hospital. Out of these, she won two of the Outstanding Younger Actress Awards from Daytime Emmys in 2009 and 2010, along with the Daytime Emmy for Supporting Actress in 2013.
She also received a Soap Opera Digest award for Outstanding Newcomer. Julie was lauded and supported by most of her GH co-stars during her stay in the soap, and she stays in contact with some of them even after exiting the show.
