"someone who lives with anxiety and depression, that is not the world I live in. It is imperative to my mental health that I remember nothing is impossible with depression or anxiety"
The actress added, that she was never comfortable with letting anyone know about her suffering, until 2016 when she decided to open up about it by being associated with Bring Change 2 Mind.
She shared her experience via a blog on the Bring Change 2 Mind website. However, the blog is not available now, the actress stated that by sharing her struggles, she wanted to create momentum to elicit change instead of staying silent.
2) Kate Mansi is engaged
The Days of Our Lives star has always kept her love life private. However, On July 3, 2024, she took to her Instagram and posted a picture of her eating but simultaneously flaunting her ring. She captioned the post:
"Never did I expect this to be the official photo of our announcement, but here we are. (And LGM = Let’s Go Mets. But… semantics)"
In a following post, she shared a picture with her partner, Matt McInnis, confirming their engagement.
3) Kate raised money for the Charity: Water campaign on her birthday in 2015.
With Charity: Water organization, she started a campaign on her birthday in 2015. In an interview with Daytime Confidential in March 2015, the actress revealed that she became aware of the water crisis on World Water Day.
As she researched in depth, Charity: Water was one of the leading non-profit organizations, and she came up with the idea of raising funds on her birthday. Due to immense support, charity: water continued her campaign until December 31 to raise $20,000, which they successfully did.

According to Glamour's December 2015 report, Kate Mansi auditioned for Melanie's role, however, lost it to Molly Burnett. The makers connected her after almost three years when she tested for the part of Abigail Days of Our Lives. For the audition of Abigail, she was asked to dye her hair blonde.
5) Kate Mansi also plays Kristina on General Hospital
Kate has been part of Days of Our Lives as Abigail for a long time. However, she last appeared on the show in 2020. The makers brought back Kate as Kristina on General Hospital.
Notably, the two characters are not interrelated, and it is not a cross-over. Kate Mansi has been a popular daily soap opera face for years and took up Kristina's role in GH in 2023. Kristina is the daughter of Sonny Corinthos and his former attorney, Alexis Davis.
Presently in the show, Kristina recently suffered a miscarriage by falling in a swimming pool. She was the surrogate of her sister Molly and her husband TJ's child. Her life is intertwined with Sonny, Ava, Molly, and TJ. She grieves the loss of the child and faces Ava regarding a court case.
