CBS's long-running daily soap, The Bold and the Beautiful is going through turbulence in its storyline as the two central figures, Steffy and Hope, are zeroing in on another clash that has the potential of breaking the Forrester family apart. As with many long soap operas, B&B often sees entries, exits, and recasts of characters in its storyline.
However, to the delight of The Bold and the Beautiful fans, the October storyline hardly had any exits. This was reassuring since the previous couple of months saw the departure of fascinating characters like Luna, played by Lisa Yamada, and Clint Howard's Tom. However, there were a few entrants into the storyline this month, such as Ashley Brewer's and Cassandra Creech's return.
The Bold and the Beautiful, which started airing on CBS in March 1987, revolves around the fashion business family of Forresters. The haute couture business, started by Eric Forrester, currently has his granddaughter, Steffy, as the CEO. The soap's plot also involves the dynamics of the Forrester family members with the Logans and the Spencers.

1) Ashley Brewer
Brewer has portrayed Ivy Forrester, Eric's niece, on B&B since 2014. The character was last seen in 2018 before Ivy left for Australia. The Neighbours star's previous stay in The Bold and the Beautiful was tumultuous. Ivy took up the position of a jewelry designer in Forrester Creations and had a romantic interest in the Spencer brothers, Wyatt and Liam.
She clashed with both Steffy and Hope over her romance with Liam. Although she was briefly seen in spring 2024 when she met Liam and was again spotted by Steffy, her return seems more long-term this time. As per the plot, Carter invited Ivy to rejoin the company to design jewelry. While Steffy was being rigid about the fact, Ivy looked upbeat to stand up to pressure from the CEO.
2) Laneya Grace
Laneya Grace is a newcomer to daytime soaps and plays Electra Forrester, Ivy's niece and Eric's grandniece. Grace debuted on The Bold and the Beautiful on October 22, 2024. The young actor worked in the movie 72 Hours, and a music video, Wake Me Up, before landing on CBS.
Laneya's Electra is set to join Forrester Creations as an intern. She may be filling up the position left vacant by intern Luna, who was disclosed to be a criminal.

3) Cassandra Creech
Creech plays cardiologist Dr. Grace Buckingham on the soap. The character was introduced to B&B in 2022 when she paid a surprise visit to her daughter, Paris. Grace stayed to arrange her daughter's life with Zende and pushed the girl away from Carter. Her last appearance was in December 2023, when she checked on Katie's heart condition.
While October 2024 was not her debut month on the soap, she reappeared on the soap after almost ten months. Her re-introduction story arc revolved around Taylor Hayes's heart ailment. She was seen giving Taylor medical advice. With Paris set to marry Thomas, Grace will likely appear on the soap in the future.

The Bold and the Beautiful: Some minor characters also got focus in October 2024
Some characters who remain offscreen as references are usually children of onscreen couples. While they rarely appear on screen, Liam and Hope's daughter, Beth Spencer, played by Jordyn Gracie, was seen on the show after a long time on October 9 and 11, 2024.
Another character who returned after a long gap was Brodie, played by Henry DiNapoli, on October 8, 2024. He last appeared in November 2023, when he was seen babysitting Steffy's kids. Additionally, Lainey, played by Heidi Engerman, and Toni, played by Jasmine Dampier, appeared after a long time on October 7, 2024.
Minita Gandhi's Shandra also returned to the soap. On The Bold and the Beautiful episode dated October 14, 2024, Gandhi played the role of a spiritual healer. As per the storyline, Ridge summoned Shandra to clear Taylor's body chakras and heal her broken heart syndrome.
While the spoilers for the last week of October 2024 suggest the return of Dick Christie, fans will need to wait till November 1, 2024, to see if he returns onscreen. Christie will resume his role as the head of security at Forrester Creations, Charlie Webber.
