“Burning up the screen with comedy and chemistry”— General Hospital fans rave about Martin and Tracy’s dynamic scenes

In the January 21, 2025, episode of General Hospital, Tracy Quartermaine faced off with Martin Grey at the PCPD office. Played by Jane Elliot, Tracy has been keeping the whereabouts of Michael's children a secret. Martin, played by Michael E Knight, was representing Drew Caine, as he came to the Quartermaine mansion with court papers and had Tracy arrested.

Jane Elliot's Tracy has been part of the soap since 1978. Meanwhile, the long-running soap premiered in April 1963 on ABC. The premise of the storyline involves the titular medical facility located in the fictional township of Port Charles. The story extends to include other residents such as the mobsters and law enforcers, besides the staff of the hospital.

The recent scene between Tracy and Martin had fans taking to social media in appreciation of the same. One fan, going by the name Shay Ree, posted on the soap's Facebook fan page:

General Hospital: What transpired between Tracy and Martin inviting fan love?

Fans may already know, Tracy has been playing the Quartermaine matriarch for some time now particularly after Monica Quartermaine has been missing in action. She was also responsible for inadvertently exposing Drew's affair with Willow Corinthos, leading to Michael filing for divorce with Willow.

Tracy Quartermaine landed herself in a fix after not complying with legal procedures from the court. Previously, the GH episode dated January 14, 2025, found attorney Martin Grey come to the Quartermaine mansion, asking Tracy to let Michael's children leave with Willow.

Tracy refused citing the children were Quartermaines and Monica wanted them in the mansion. When Martin threatened with court papers, Tracy stood her ground claiming she was not afraid of legal fights. As such, Martin Grey had to leave that day.

However, Martin was back at the mansion on Friday's episode dated January 17, 2025, bringing Drew Caine with him. They showed her the court order allowing Willow Corinthos to have the children. Tracy refused to comply with the legal orders, Drew had her arrested adding her resistance into the charges against her.

On Tuesday, January 21, Tracy sat in a room at the Port Charles Police Department. After Drew and Martin briefed Anna on the situation, Anna questioned Tracy about Wiley and Amelia. She uncuffed Tracy at her request.

Tracy claimed the children were safe with their nanny and refused to provide further details. She then lashed out at Drew, calling him a disgrace to the family, while Drew expressed his own thoughts.

Later, Martin and Tracy had a long fight over their individual points of view. During their argument, Tracy even brought up Martin's dating Lucy Coe but losing her to other men in her life. Martin left after Jason Morgan showed up on Anna Devane's request.

Tracy continued to insist she was doing this for Monica Quartermaine. However, when Jason asked whether she was fine with going to prison over the issue, tracy laughed at the possibility, pointing out she had enough money to keep her out of jail.
