Courtney Hope of The Bold and the Beautiful wins Outstanding Supporting Actress at Daytime Emmys 2024

Actress Courtney Hope won the Outstanding Supporting Actress Award at the Daytime Emmys 2024 for her role as Sally Spectra in The Bold and the Beautiful. The long-running soap, The Bold and the Beautiful, won multiple awards at the Daytime Emmys 2024, including Courtney Hope's award. The Bold and the Beautiful was also nominated in several categories at the Daytime Emmys 2024.

The American TV soap began airing in 1988 and is currently on season 37. It is directed by William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell, and follows the wealthy Forrester family and their fashion label in Beverley Hills. Courtney Hope joined the show in 2020 as Sally Spectra II, a designer, and the granddaughter of Sally Spectra.

They included Jennifer Gareis for The Bold and the Beautiful, Linsey Godfrey for Days of Our Lives, Allison Lanier for The Young and the Restless, and Emily O’Brien for Days of Our Lives.


Other victories during the Daytime Emmy Awards

The 51st annual Daytime Emmy Awards were broadcast live on June 7, 2024, from the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in downtown Los Angeles.

General Hospital emerged as a frontrunner and won awards for writing and direction. Actor Robert Gossett was awarded the Outstanding Supporting Actor Award for his role as Marshall Ashford. The show's directing team paid tribute to the late Johnny Wactor during their acceptance ceremony.

The Kelly Clarkson Show won the award for the Best Daytime Talk Series for the fourth time in a row. Dick Van Dyke was given the Daytime Emmy for his guest appearance on Days of Our Lives, making him the oldest actor to receive the honor. Melody Thomas Scott, Lidia Bastianich, and Edward J. Scott were nominated for the Lifetime Achievement Award. Eventually, the public culinary show host, Lidia Bastianich, won the award at the Daytime Emmys 2024.

Entertainment Tonight anchor Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner were the presenters for the awards function.
