Leo was shown to be fearful that Kerry's potential involvement in their relationship could cause the two to have issues with each other. Detective and investigator Jada Hunter called Kerry in for questioning regarding Bonnie Kiriakis's fall into the elevator shaft inside Salem University Hospital.
Kerry maintained his innocence throughout the rounds of questioning and asserting that he did not have any motive to cause any potential harm to Bonnie Kiriakis and that he was wrongly suspected of a crime he did not commit. Since Bonnie Kiriakis was admitted to the hospital to recover from the injuries she had sustained, Abe Carver was shown requesting Kayla Johnson to temporarily replace her on Body & Soul.
Alex shared an emotional conversation with Stephanie Johnson on Days Of Our Lives where he admitted that he only had moved on and been intimate with Joy because he assumed that Stephanie would get together with Philip Kiriakis. Stephanie also confessed that she did love Alex and did want them both to reunite and become a couple.
