Days of Our Lives, first shown on NBC in 1965, now streams on Peacock. It is TV's most popular soap opera as well as the longest-running. Last week on Days of Our Lives, the drama spanned from Salem to Vancouver, combining tense confrontations, stunning revelations, and joyful scenes. On the December 13th episode, Stephanie Johnson paid a visit to Philip Kiriakis' hotel room to brief him on her public relations efforts to support his case.
Philip was taken aback when he opened the door wearing only a towel, but after changing, he listened to Stephanie describe her plan to boost his public image.
Though he appreciated her assistance, Philip was doubtful about his chances in court. His dissatisfaction deepened when his lawyer, Ned Dickerson, called to quit owing to a conflict of interest with Xander. Philip felt Xander was behind this, as the timing was too perfect to be a coincidence.
Shawn Brady discussed his divorce with Justin Kiriakis in the interim. Shawn made the decision to go ahead and formally dissolve his marriage to Belle after going over the documents.
Jada Hunter also offered him a position at the Salem Police Department, which he accepted. After considering his previous transgressions, Shawn accepted Jada's offer of a fresh start and rejoined the force. In an attempt to start over and restore his life and profession, he took off his wedding band.
Later, Belle met with Brady, who revealed that he was dating Ava Vitali. Belle was astonished and concerned, especially given Ava's history. Brady defended Ava, claiming that she had changed and could deal with Kristen's jealousy.

He also stated that Xander had previously attempted to hurt him, shocking Belle. She hadn't understood how serious Brady's predicament was, and it shifted her viewpoint.
Kristen questioned Ava about spending more time with Brady at the DiMera house. During their heated discussion on Days of Our Lives, Kristen accused Ava of attempting to take Brady away from her.
When Kristen smacked Ava, the conversation got heated, but Ava swiftly responded by warning Kristen she wouldn't be frightened. By bringing up Sarah's horrific experience on DiMera Island, Kristen attempted to frighten Ava, but she was unmoved and told Kristen not to play with her.
